Ike Kaludi, Esq.

Founder & Trial Attorney, California Trial Law Group
ike-m

Ike Kaludi represents people whose lives were destroyed in seconds. Catastrophic injuries that end careers, drain savings, and rewrite futures.

Since 2015, he’s specialized exclusively in the cases that scare most attorneys away: traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and severe spinal cord damage. The ones where a single miscalculation in damages means a family goes bankrupt in five years instead of getting the care they need for life.

Why Other Attorneys Refer Cases to Him

Ike takes the complex cases, the ones that require coordination with neurosurgeons, biomechanical engineers, and life care planners. The ones where the insurance company has already denied the claim twice. The ones that go to trial.

He’s known in Northern California legal circles for a specific skill: taking catastrophic injury cases that look like they’ll settle for $100,000 to $200,000 and turning them into $1 to $2 million recoveries. Not through legal tricks, but through meticulous case building that forces insurers to face the actual cost of what their policyholder destroyed.

Defense attorneys know his reputation. When Ike Kaludi is on the other side, lowball offers don’t work.

Track Record

Since 2025, Ike has secured over $42 million for clients in catastrophic injury cases. He’s been recognized as a Super Lawyer and Top Attorney Award recipient, distinctions reserved for fewer than 5% of practicing attorneys, but the metric that matters more is this: clients who were told by other lawyers their case was worth $500K have walked away with $3.2 million.

His approach is surgical: identify every dollar of future loss, document it beyond dispute, and refuse to negotiate against his client’s actual needs.

Background

Ike earned his J.D. from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where he deliberately sought out training from both plaintiff trial attorneys and insurance defense litigators. That dual perspective taught him how insurance companies decide which cases to fight and which to settle, and more importantly, what makes them pay full value.

He holds a degree in Political Science and International Development from UCLA.

Before law school, Ike worked as a case manager for catastrophic injury victims, coordinating care and watching families navigate the gap between what insurance paid and what recovery actually cost. He saw brilliant people lose their homes because their attorney settled too early. That experience didn’t just shape his career, it made him furious enough to change fields entirely.

Outside the Courtroom

Ike cycles, skis Tahoe, and travels when he’s not in trial prep. The same discipline that gets him up for 5 AM rides shows up when he’s on his fourth expert deposition of the week.

Why Clients Choose Him

Because when your spouse can’t recognize your children anymore, or your 32-year-old daughter will never walk again, you don’t need an attorney who’s compassionate and dedicated. You need someone who’s going to extract every dollar the law allows from the people responsible.

Ike Kaludi built his entire practice around one principle: catastrophic injury victims get one shot at justice. He makes it count.
